I'm Alana. I was introduced to the magic of essential oils years ago along with all their beautiful therapeutic benefits. Since then I haven't looked back. Essential oils are from a different dimension to synthetic fragrances. Their scent smells more pure, more natural, they can have an impact on your mind, change your heart rate, and help support your mood and change the way your day unfolds. Everyone should experience a piece of the magic of incredible essential oils! 

Synthetic fragrances are made of 95% petrochemicals and their byproducts are classified as hazardous waste. I know anything with synthetics in it is not kind on our skin, our health, or our planet!

I started making my own natural perfumes years ago because they don't exist in New Zealand. And I wanted to share them with the community around me. I've always wanted to create something that is meaningful to me, and has a positive impact on people's lives and our planet.

So ethēra was born.

I created a skin and home-care aromatherapy product range. Every product is created to be high quality, with top performance, and designed to be a multi-sensory experience for the ultimate mindful, self-care moment. And as an environmental scientist, sustainability is core! No plastics, recycled materials preferred, and always reduce and reuse before recycling! So ethēra offers refills on all products using our own containers - or BYO!
